alphaLED illuminates XICATO stand at Light Middle East  

Light Middle East is MENA’s leading event for the lighting and building services industry and part of the international Light + Building brand. It took place in Dubai last month and saw many of the world-renowned brands, regional players and promising innovators come together for a three-day showcase featuring products within lighting, electrical engineering, and home and building automation.

XICATO exhibited their new smart control system and light sources. Calling on our partnership with XICATO, our Apto fixtures were chosen to illuminate the stand. The fixtures used XICATO’s Bluetooth and smart control system.

XICATO utilises blue LEDs, which can be found in the centre of the chips. A tailored phosphor-coated film is then selected to accurately tune the colour temperature. This separated sapphire crystal glass remains at a very low operating temperature, which reduces lumen deprecation and colour shift throughout its life. Together with our no-compromise thermal management, no other LED technology can match the overall quality and performance of the alphaLED and XICATO partnership.
